Small and medium businesses in Lancashire can benefit from specialist business advice on how to grow, access new markets and receive government support through Boost – Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub.
Established in 2013, the Boost programme has so far created over 2,200 jobs, by helping over 5,000 growth-hungry businesses to grow through having access to high-quality business support ranging from marketing to innovation and new product development advice.
In December 2018, the future of the Boost programme was secured for a further three years where it is expected that a further 1,450 businesses will be supported, creating 1,350 jobs and helping to establish 200 new business startups.
The new round of the Boost programme is being delivered in partnership with Lancashire County Council, Growth Lancashire, Community and Business Partners, Winning Pitch, Enterprise for All, Lancashire Chambers of Commerce and Freshfield PR with £3.6million of funding provided by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
