Lancashire Enterprise Partnership are committed to maximising the Social Value benefits of its projects and programmes and retaining the economic benefits of this investment to generate local employment, training and business opportunities.

In accordance with the provisions of the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 (the Act), Lancashire Enterprise Partnership aims to maximise social value through the procurement and commissioning of its programmes. The LEP is taking forward these principles and has developed a common social value framework woven throughout its projects and programmes.

The framework utilises the National Themes Outcomes and Measures to embed social value within the procurement, monitoring and evaluation of projects across the LEP’s project and programme portfolio including the Growth Deal, City Deal, Boost business support and Rosebud Business Finance programmes.

In order to assist developers and contractors progress towards realising these aspirations, the LEP have produced a Social Value Toolkit for to aid the delivery if wider economic and social benefits across our project and programme portfolio.
