The session, chaired by Jim Carter, Lancashire Enterprise Partnership Board, provided a welcome opportunity for the City Deal partners to explain plans for community infrastructure, communications and marketing opportunities, local employment and skills plans, and timescales for the ongoing road building programme.
Jim Carter said: “Without the support and investment of the private sector we will not be able to deliver the City Deal, it is vital that we enable our partners to commit to investment decisions and to align the infrastructure delivery programmes with their development aspirations.”
